Practical answers to common questions about booking, facilities and using the Hub.

How do I find out about availability and book?

The easiest and quickest way to view up to date availability is to start with our availability page, which then links you through to the live booking system when you are ready. If you still need help, please email bookings@flaxbourtonhub.org.

Outdoor areas around the Hub are not available for private hire. The parish council does not permit those spaces to be hired for parties or general event use. The football pitch is only available to properly organised teams registered with a recognised sporting association, and only for matches or training. See the layout and outdoor spaces guide.

By arrangement - please contact bookings@flaxbourtonhub.org to enquire.

Can I have a bouncy castle in the hall?

Yes. Please note that you are responsible for the safety of your guests for the duration of your hire.

Unfortunately not. All hirers must remove all rubbish and recycling at the end of their hire.

Is there WIFI?

Yes! The login and password information will be provided on confirmation of your booking. Please note that the hub is in a rural location and the WIFI is not as fast as you may be used to. It is suitable for general browsing and emails but not for streaming or gaming. We are actively seeking funds to upgrade our WIFI. Please check back for updates.

Do you have a projector/screen to hire?

We do not currently have this facility available but are actively seeking funds to purchase one. Please check back for updates. In the meantime, you are welcome to bring your own equipment and use our sound system to play sound through the hall speakers. Please note that you are responsible for the safety of your guests for the duration of your hire.
