About
Learn how the Hub is stewarded, why it matters in village life and who looks after it on behalf of the community.
The Flax Bourton Hub is a modern, well-equipped village building and associated field in North Somerset. It exists as a practical community space: somewhere to meet, organise, celebrate, exercise, learn and support village life.
Historically, the facility was created as part of the development of the surrounding housing estate and has gone on to provide a much broader role in the life of Flax Bourton. Activities, family events, community gatherings and local initiatives all depend on it being easy to find, easy to understand and easy to book.
The Hub is now managed as a charity, working with local volunteers and the Parish Council to keep the facility inclusive, useful and financially sustainable.
Trustee names, roles and biographies can be shared here so visitors can see who is responsible for the Hub and how the charity is stewarded.
